3. how the gadget works

To install the gadget just double click the file RecycleBinGadget.gg on your computer or choose open when you click on the download link. Google Desktop will then ask you if you want to install the gadget. Click OK to install it. You will then see either the full or empty trash can in your sidebar:

• To empty your recycle bin click on it with the right mouse key and select "Empty RecycleBin".
• To open your recycle bin in the explorer double click on the trash can or select "Open Recycle Bin" in the context menu.
• Move a file or folder onto the recycle bin to delete it.
• If you have applications installed which add a context menu item to your recycle bin those apps will also be listed in the context menu of the gadget. You can now, for example, launch CCleaner from the sidebar if you have added it to your Recycle Bin context menu.
