Extended Search for Google Desktop 1. download setup 2. about the application Extended Search for Google Desktop is a search-Protocol application which uses Google Desktop as a backend and integrates into Windows Vista SP1. It is also possible to run it as a standalone application on other Windows systems. 
You can set this application as the default application for the search protocol in Windows Vista SP1. It uses Google Desktop as a search index and integrates well with the overall look and feel of Windows Vista. Using the different filter options you can better target your search and only show results within a specific category. Through the context menu for you can directly execute several actions on the results such as opening files, webpages or mails, showing properties for files and showing the folder a file is contained in. It is also possible to directly drag files from the application to a windows explorer and to copy files using the context menu. Use the extended search options to even further target your search and filter your results.
3. application requirements The application requires at least Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run. If you do not have the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed the application will not run. Windows Vista SP1 is recommended for the application but it will also run on previous versions of Windows if the .NET Framework is installed.
